The rack extender puts up a 4" high guardrail on the rear rack of the ATV to provide enough storage space for the goods, but also to prevent the goods from slipping out of the car due to bumps on the road.
The sturdy guardrail can be used as a reliable fastening point for the shoulder strap or elastic rope to prevent items from sliding forward during riding.
